![]() Scripps Networks engaged 360i to create a digital media strategy to drive awareness of a new talent search contest called Stud Finder. The contest asked entrants to submit video clips of themselves doing DIY projects and promised a chance to be the next host of a DIY television program. 360i designed creative that was dual purposed: the primary goal was to generate awareness and interest for the network by promoting the contest and ultimately to drive viewers to tune in to an on-air special in which the winner was announced. The secondary goal was to encourage people to submit their video and enter the contest. 360i decided to build a creative suite that included highly engaging rich media ad units as the main messaging vehicle to maximize impact on the target audience. The units included contest details and the ability to being the entry process in-banner and challenged users DIY knowledge with an in-banner quiz, while continuing to message network tune-in. Results included high click rates and banner interaction times that were twice the average for entertainment category rich media creative.
